Hello! Glad to be excepted here. I have a 2002 Yukon xl, can I go with 33x12.5R20 without a lift kit? I'm new to this lol

Technically, you might without a lift kit, but you still may (probably will) need a small lift. You can crank your torsion bars in minutes to lift the front a little, just as needed. The back should fit fine. If the front ends up too high for your liking when compared to the rear, you can lift the rear with some really inexpensive coil spacers. Keep the cranking and spacing to the bare minimum and you won't need longer shocks.

Thanks for the reply man! I just purchased it last week, and when I get it together I'll post some pictures.

Welcome to the forum from Oregon. If you do crank up the front you will need an alignment as well. You should align with new tires anyway though.

I had bought some used rims with 295/55/R20 tires (slightly under 33") on them with my car having a 2" torsion level added it still rubbed when turning. It would especially do it when I was turning up or down on a hill. I recently switched over to a 275/55/R20, which is effectively a 32" tire and now it doesn't rub at all. So, I'd say with at least a level, you're right on the cusp. Good luck... Let us know how it turns out.
