New fog lights what you think

So my Tahoe didn’t have fog lights so I installed these what you think. Wife thinks it looks stupid and trashy

Which light is that? How did you do a harness?

I got the lights from autozone and the blazer wiring harness and put a switch in the cab used the bracket they came with and bolt it to a piece of metal strut that had holes pre drilled in it from Home Depot to hold them in,there bright as hell without the yellow lens I get flipped off lmfao

Were the lights plug n play with the harness?

Pretty much harness just needed ground and attached to positive on battery then has a positive and negative lead for the fog lights

they work & they are bright... works for me




can they be pushed back a little?

It looks better than having big square "ditch" lights mounted on the corners of the cowl. Doesn't block any of your view out the windshield either.

Why not just get round yellow fogs? Would “fit” better.

It looks like you put square lights in a spot meant for round ones. Not “clean” look, but if you dig the lights, roll with it.

if you have second thoughts, just get the OEM lights for that model and pick up a set of LED yellow bulbs. Clean look, bright lights....

yes amazon does this... they see the traffic for an item increase then they jack up the price

I used to do this when i sold stuff on ebay i'm usually able to get 5-10% more profit for it....

Not Tahoe related, but there's a specific brand of double-sided tape I've started using for holding workpieces on my CNC router. About a week after I started recommending it to others, the price per roll on Amazon started creeping up. Sure enough, the ranking (shown on the product page) had gone up, so the price went up. Now I keep my mouth shut on consumables that I buy repeatedly.
