need to replace hub bearing/ assembly. Options?

Hi everyone. I have a new to me 2006 yukon XL Denali. I am very certain I need to replace the front left wheel bearing/ assembly. From what I've been reading I have to replace the whole assembly, not just the bearing. Correct? Also should I go with the factory OEM Timken setup? Has anyone done anything different that enabled something that makes it better than stock? Maybe a 3/4 ton assembly or a newer generation assembly?

Stock replacement Timken is fine. EBay is where I found the cheapest price. Piece of cake to replace.

+1 to Timken front wheel hub assembly. I got mine from RockAuto for very cheap compared to local automotive stores even shipped. Didn't check eBay though.

I got mine from summit, they were cheaper then Rockauto. they are easy to replace.
remove tire,loosen the axle nut now while someone can push on the brakes for you, remove caliper, caliper bracket, rotor, remove the 3 unit bearing bolts, pull hub unit off axle and out from the steering knuckle. put it back together.

Pretty much all my parts have been from Amazon. All were damned good deals that shipped free within 2 days.
