It looks as tho he has aftermarket lights. Also I'd loose the bug guard. I do like the speed grill. Great start.

Your 06 is exactly where I'm heading with mine. Just need to find the rims locally with some rubber on them. Also, need the esky caps and rack......
Beautiful trucks by the way.

You can also get the SS street scene rear vents. That's what my wife and I have on ours.

I know that you removed the brush guard, but I mostly noticed you took out one of the amber reflectors

Yea. I went with clear parking lamps. Really cleaned things up. I still have amber bulbs for the turn signal so you see the reflection in the middle but the corners are clear. My intentions were to have clear headlights too, but I hear he Denali housings are difficult to open, so I just left it alone.

Get the amber 194 LEDs for the bumper / parking lights and they have some aftermarket Denali headlights with clear reflectors on ebay.

It's looking really good BTW.

I'm thinking chrome mirrors may balance out the chrome on the truck. Think it will look tacky? I am thinking of just covering the painted surface on the backside of the mirror.

Yes the 194 LEDs work just start plug and play. Mine have built in restores and don't hyper flash.

I think it could look good, but I'd probably get escalade handles to "balance out the chrome". Either way, if you're keeping the chrome moldings, I'd do a little bit of chrome somewhere

Went off-road last week......grill felt naked, so got a new grille guard. My mentality was- I'll order it see how it mounts and looks and send it back if I don't love it. Well, this thing mounts to 4 places on the frame making it actually useful. And I love the way it looks too. What do you guys think?

Looks good, I couldn't imagine going back to not having a brush guard after having one for so long. Good to see you got a new one

So, I'm waiting until I need tires before I get the NNBS 20's.
In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out what else I can do. I see some Yukons on the road that don't have the chrome molding on the rear quarter panel. I'm thinking of removing mine. Thoughts?

The ones you see with no chrome molding behind the rear tires are probably Yukons, not Yukon XLs like yours. For offing yours are not, that is up to you. I think that it does play a part in your "chrome balance" however. And trust me, as a fellow chrome on blacker, I know its tougher than doing a simple black out or white out. However, here's an image you can compare to.

Edit: And let me tell ya. If I had the money and the reason for new tires, I'd be all over some chrome 20s+. I put tall, thick tires on mine because these 16s are embarrassing!

Also, I noticed you put your front visors back on despite taking them off earlier. Personally, I want to get some for my Yukon some point soon. How come you put your fronts back on? Just curious.
