Need Help w/Cross Rails Install

Just bought factory cross rails off eBay - are they designed to be installed with adjustment handle facing the front or back of the vehicle?

Not sure if there's a difference but with mine, handles to the rear on my NBS; holes to the front.

Curious, @Ltzjeff, if you don't mind me asking, in what part of the suburbs are you? Before I moved to Denver in 1985 I was working in the south suburbs, Chicago Heights, and living a bit south of there in Beecher, a little town on Dixie Hwy. Have a brother in Palatine and another in the city on the north side.

Ha! Right down Route 66 in Plainfield township - the heights, yep familiar and during that same time frame
