Need help immediatly on hu install

I have a 2001 Yukon. I have an aftermarket HU that I am trying to install. I got a wire harness off ebay. I hooked everything up and get power but no sound. I think this has to do with that 2nd harness. What is this for and how do I get it to work? It has onstar but I could care less if it works.
