Any help is greatly appreciated in this matter, sick of being on hold with Kenwood for the past 2 days on and off. I have a Kenwood DDX 514 and want to hook my Xbox360 up to it. I have the power inverter ready to go and working, just cant figure out my unit to get the audio and video. I've read the manual and have attached a link to an online one for anybody looking to help. http://manual.kenwood.com/files/4a56e08041683.pdf
Currently the only input I'm using is the backup camera input.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Umm assuming you have a composite AV Input (Yellow Video, Red/White Audio). Whats the problem? Use your Xbox360 AV Cables Connect to the headunit and then choose it as a source? Most likely gonna look like complete crap as thats the 360's lowest 480p setting and looks horrible to me so not worth the effort but to each his own.

Your manual you linked doesnt reflect anything related to actual hookup so I dunno if thats your problem or if you just cant figure out how to select the input on screen to view the 360...

More details?

So are you using the A/V input to connect the 360? I would try hooking up a regular DVD player or something just so you can test whether or not you can get the input to work at all.

I know in the Pioneers there is an 'initial menu' that you can change the settings for the A/V inputs, have you tried messing around with the menus?

There is an AUX in put on these i ve installed many of these units. In order to access some of your kenwoods features you must put your deck into stand-by mode. SRC button should get you there. Then access menu and you should be able to turn aux on or switch source. GL

You might also need to turn on the particular input you are hooking it up too on the unit. I know on some kenwood units ive installed you have to turn the particular video inputs on. THey do that so that if you dotn have it hooked up you dont have to sift through all teh sources when you are going through them, instead you turn on teh ones you want to use. Hope this helps!
