Need help, gas tank

I have a fuel leak in my 97 with 300k miles so I bought a new tank, pump & filter & figured I'd just replace them all. I now have learned that the 2dr & 4dr Tahoe's have different tanks & locations and 3 different sites told me to buy the 2dr one when I have a 4dr. What is needed to relocate the gas tank to where the spare tire is like in the 2dr?
