That's crazy! Good luck man I hope it stays away from you. If you flee to Florida let me know I have barn space.

Thanks man shit hold my beer loading up now haha

It's on the news every day now. Those vids of people driving down those roads with fire all around, campers trapped and having to get rescued by the national guard.

yeah it’s insane around here like central Oregon fires usually happen at least once a year but this is the worst I have ever seen as long as I can remember.

damn dude...thats crazy. hopefully yall get some rain soon to help fight it.

yeah just like @jonnytahoe said we won’t see rain soon I bet. Yesterday today and tomorrow all day 90+ degree days. This smoke has been holding the heat back but outside of it it’s still there plus the wind is insane and just spreading everything.

I’m sure you could probably use the rain we’re getting in south Florida at the moment

Alright. Smoke is gone finally! and time to update. Just got back from DTP racewars in Wapato, WA. Pretty cool show. A little smaller for sound comp wise but lots of racing, car limbo, and lots....I mean lots of 2 step  4hr drive each way though so we stayed in Yakima close to the track Friday night to save from 8 hrs of driving in a day with a 8hr show. Lol

Took 2 first places. Managed to get closer to holding 155db on a 30 second music average run a few more tests and tweaks and I think I got it. 1C871962-CADC-4169-B33D-D2601B656D8B.jpeg

I will have more pictures from the show in about a week. My photographer schallerimages.com was there so I had him get some more updated photos of the Tahoe.

good buddy of mine also showed up with a little present for me.

02 escalade center console with matching lower dash pieces. It’s in damn near perfect shape just a little dusty. Cd changer delete pocket will be here Monday for it. Got a cool idea for the clock and gotta figure out what to do with the information center. Thought about attempting to get it wired up and working but also just thought about deleting with a block off plate for switches. Either way it should turn out pretty good 8D54EC66-FD49-46CA-9C80-6D043CB38735.jpeg1FD6E8BB-A78F-4768-8FD9-84382638EF31.jpeg

You can also use the rear radio delete pocket from a Buick rendezvous

Can’t wait till you match the rest of the interior up with the wooed grain :p

Also 2 step is not term to ever be spoken here :supergay:

Don’t ************ to Alaska :flipthebird:

And I’m gonna have to order that! I’ll look into it now. I did find a way to wire up the secondary info center. Apparently it’s pretty common for people to do in 99-02 Silverado’s. Still gonna get the pocket just in case I decide not to though

Started messing with the esky center console yesterday. Holy crap I didn’t realize how much wiring and shit was in there. Stripping electrical tape off 20 yr old wiring is also really fun when the adhesive turns into slime on everything.

Regardless got the cd changer swapped out with the metra 88-00-9000 pocket. Wiring for the console light and the back light behind the console, and wiring for all the cig lighters stripped out. Gonna tidy all that up once I start installing it. also pre swapped all the bulbs including the cup holder/ashtray lights to led.

1st attempt at wrapping the wood grain failed and honestly doubt I’m gonna wrap it and have it look like I want so most likely gonna plasti dip it to match the dash bezel. Waiting on push buttons and my little addition for where the clock is at. 2EEC4EC0-AD35-4823-B132-7CA888CDFD94.jpeg47B2235B-1DC2-4E2D-9361-52AE758A6262.jpeg9765D4D4-BFB9-469F-A414-64DC1E376873.jpegF026EB60-9DD1-4E79-8504-53D703D5E012.jpeg07313591-E8CA-4419-97C9-9F22552E3C86.jpeg
