How you likey?

Observations?

meh, no real difference. Sounds good on WOT, but can hardly hear it under normal driving conditions. Now I can hear both the intake and exhaust during WOT, so it's perfect. I don't really drive it like I stole it anyways. I"ll have a buddy of mine tune my truck when I get a chance.

You have the stock muffler still yes?

I noticed it got a little more growl to it after the filter and tube.

I have the resonator deleted too, like you.

I am sure our trucks sound the same, save for the duals on the Escalade bumper.

I got a little growl when I removed the resonator, then a little more when I did the Y pipe out of the stock muffle to the dual exhaust, and now a little more with the intake.

The sound of the intake is exactly as loud as my exhaust, so it's perfect. That's why I'm worried about doing an aftermarket muffler. I don't want it any louder than it is now...

Aftermarket would definitely be louder. I wish there was a muffler that flows like a Magnaflow but was a few hairs louder then what I have now.

Get the magnaflow 12589. It's the biggest one they got and the bigger it is the quieter it gets. I had it on my 08 tahoe and it was ****** awesome. Low rumble (lower then stock muffler w/ res delete) and very clean sound. Get it Nate!!

Here's what it looks like when I just had it put on... it's similar to the size of the stock muffler:
