for now, just keeping the stock muffler to a Y pipe out the premium bumper. Eventually I'll do something, but anything louder than stock exhaust (without resonator) is too loud for me. I want to keep it ultra quiet on this ride.

im tellin you the 5x8x30 magnaflow sounds great with no resonator and mine is turned down.
Can you still run 2.5 inch exhaust to the tip and keep the spare tire on?

No. it's too close to the spare. the 2012 esky premium's (as well as all GMT900's) don't come with a spare.

I did that too, then could smell exhaust smoke coming inside the truck. So I just welded it back on. IMO looks CLEAN just sucks about the smell.
