How is it when you really love something somebody has to F*CK it up. Driving home last night and some F*cking Rat in a Toyota runs a red light in front of me. Well I slammed my brakes ( we all know how great the Tahoe's stop) and I end up T Boning the guy. I honestly thought i killed him, my Hoe finally stops and next thing I know The rat takes off ( I really dont know the car still drove but he was gone). Well I hope they don't rite off my Hoe, I love that truck. Sorry guys i just had to vent.

I wish, the next intersection has it. I'm so stressed I still haven't slept. The witness only got a partial plate # so this F*cker might get away with it. I'm going to the impound yard soon so I'll post some pics of the damage. It didn't look to bad to me at night, the push bar seemed to protect the hood and fenders. The bumper is twisted and pushed into my tire. But we all know insurance will try to save money so i'm scared they gonna rite it off because it's a 2000.

If you have decent insurance and the right coverage, you should be fine. Considering it was a hit and run event, that should help out furthermore. Hopefully that dude will get caught (around here, rarely does any hit and run driver actually get away with it)

Nope no Air Bags went off. Well I came back from the impound and my baby is getting fixed. The Push Bar did it's job. Bumper lights and grill need replacing and thats it. A fresh coat of paint on the front end and will look good as new. I also got my rental, they tried to put me in a compact but i bitched, Told them I drive a full size SUV and that what i want as a rental. I guess because the accident wasn't my fault They gave me a New Yukon. Its weird my Hoe feels alot faster than this new Yukon.

i figured since them things attach to the frame that if you hit anything, you'd **** up your frame first and foremost. good thing i was wrong.

Ok I'm starting to get pissed off now. Now Allstate is starting to play games, first they say it will be fixed and now they want another adjuster to look at it again because they might want to rite it off again. First est. was $3500 in damage that is without price of replacing pushbar. Looks like this is going to be 1 hell of a fight!!! If they try giving me $3000 grand for it they are sadly confused. I looked allready, 99-00 tahoe with about 130,000 Miles on it goes for around $8000 up here. that's with less options. Mine is fully loaded with 71,000 miles on it. I wont take nothing less than $10,000 for it.

Ok i started looking for parts to repair my Hoe ( just bored on Sunday Morning) Does LMC sell Z71 front bumper( not in Crome) and where can i find the factory push bar?

yea LMC sells one. its like 90 bucks without the impact strip in black primer, but then you have to pay oversized shipping on it. push bar? craigslist or ebay.

Get a used ranch-hand. Chances are if you crash into something with that it won't need to be replaced. Thats what my cuz did with his z71

if they really want to total it, settle for cash and buy the truck back from them for salvage. call around a few salvage yards and put her back on the road for well under 3k and money in ur pocket for mods.

Damm that sucks. If you want the same push bar you will have to order through GM and that thing will be expensive. Get one like bowtie. There is no way they will find the bumper through japan part makers. The grille will also be different from the center where the bowtie goes. Only place to find it will be through dealer.
