I really like the center pocket, please make me one as well as a cover. Feel free to PM me.

P.S. the switches in the back are useless, what my idea is to....

1) Mine has ciggertte lighter in it. Going to wire it up so it fuctions as a charge port for passengers IF i have them.

2) The switches will be removed and I want to fab up a plate for gauges. (Even though I am not going FI now) I am still installing all the gauges. I have a Autometer gauges and I am relocating my Narrow Band A/F gauge. Your kids will love it as it jumps up and goes crazy. The other switch is going to house a possibley a digital Volt or Amp Gauge.

3) Can also install where the radio buttons are (I can't recall the name) but it is a squared computerized OBD computer that read trans temp, voltage all the ETC.

I might have to go in the truck and re-think things. It has been down and out for the count due to my LS Swap and cost of a wedding.

Are you talking to me or the OP?

This is my build on the service truck.

Check it out. I built panels to cover all the holes, and I am having it wrapped in vinyl. This way the whole thing will have a much nicer feel to it.

Looks great, like the power inverter Idea. USB is cool but I am going to be buried in my truck so who knows what the next great tech thing is.

Nice truck, awesome console. I like the way it looks with the black. May just have to look into a future upgrade to mine. Also want to add USB and inverter. Thanks for sharing!

I thought about that as well. I tend to keep my primary vehicles around 8-10 years at a time. I figure I can always add or change when the time comes. I have noticed this charges my phone MUCH fast then just a normal USB adapter.

Please clarify who you were asking about the pocket.

Thanks. It has been a fun cheap project that I can be a bit creative with.

Just picked up my Esky console. would definitely be interested in the tab that holds down the center pad and possibly the pocket as well

Sorry for the confusion. Would like slipping to duplicate his pocket and cover for me please!

Are you cutting them out by hand or are you using a water jet?
A simple file loaded in, and you could make a 100 of them!

Would be nice to have a water jet. All done by hand. .080-.100 carbon fiber flat stock. Takes a minute but turns out decent.

I just realized I posted that in the wrong place. Oh well. Nothing makes a good impression like making an ass out of yourself.
