Lol no joke. You can see in the picture that the corner had a small bend on it but it hammered out just fine. The liner on the bottom is in great shape too. I can't wait to cut it and get it on.

Dam. My Yukon is already pretty quiet. Any plans to do the floor? Or the 3rd seat area for road noise?

Yes, I plan to do the entire floor, the doors, and quarter panels.

Well I picked up another sound deadening kit to do a second layer on the roof, if I have room in might do some CCF then put the headliner in.

Last night i stopped by my buddies shop and he helped me cut my HD hood. Fitment is at like 85% because we ran out of daylight. Should have it fitting like it is supposed to tonight.

dangggg, I wouldn't mind a cowl hood for my Hoe. Those HDs always look good on the NBSs. Hell you should even do the two tone and run the same color of the hood down the body line up to roof. If....that....makes....any sense. lol

Whoa!!! :chewie::rockit::thumbsup:

So much win right there. 2 tone color could be cool. How did the fender to hood seam line up for you?

You should get one. I'm really happy with how it looks. I've actually been told that by a few people but I can't really picture it. I like that color that's on the hood though.

Maybe, but I love the black. It's not perfect or even close to what I'd like it to be. But this hood was on a wrecked truck. So with a bit of tweaking I think I am going to be able to get a nice fit. The only thing that seems to be different is where the back of the hood meets the top of the fender. I'm guessing the silverado is shaped different? I can get a picture when it stops raining

Yeah there seems to be a slight difference at the top point near the cowling and fender and the seams (as mentioned in most everyone who has an HD hood). There just seems to be a slightly larger than OEM gap. But again not enough to warrant taking the hood off and going back to OEM...hahaha...that would not be acceptable. Know what I mean.

Black or two tone, your Denali is tight!!

Definitely. I was able to get the hood to fender gap quite a bit smaller by adjusting the fenders but I still think it can be tightened up some more.

I do have a problem though. My rear view mirror digital readout will go crazy, I did take it apart and fixed the broken solder joints but my problem is in the pigtail itself. Anyone know where I can a replacement pigtail?

Been a while since I have posted but I've finally got back to working on my Denali. I had to replace my radiator and it wasn't 2 weeks later and my waterpump went out. So I replaced radiator hoses, 160 thermostat, a/c tensioner assembly, idler pulley, belt tensioner, both belts, upgraded to a 265 amp alternator. I'm waiting on some wire so I can upgrade the charge wire then I can put my engine cover back on.

While I was replacing all the engine accessories I also decided to ditch the clutch fan.

I picked up the fans/wiring/relays from just chevy trucks.

I had a local shop tune my Denali when they activated the electric fans. Made a huge difference and this pig pulls hard. I need to go back though, I had the idle speed increased to 700rpm from 525rpm. And now it's on the converter when I'm in traffic so I'm getting trans Temps reaching almost 200 even with my big external cooler

After a hectic year I finally got time to recover my headliner in black suede and get it back in. I'm hoping to drop my visors off sometime soon to have them recovered.

I had a problem with water leaking in the truck and it turned out to be the antennas on the roof so I got rid of them.

I also went ahead and and got rid of the rear wiper and rear window release button.

My truck had all the extra stick on wood grain and it wasn't in very good condition. So I decided to remove it and I'm going to paint the insert to match the truck.
