As some of you know I purchased an 05 Escalade Engine and Trans from a member. It should arrive today or Monday, Ill get pics of it when it arrives.

EDIT :Step 2 is a port and polish from Mike Stark @ CFM. Full job including re assembly and valve job.

I will likely be using Chucks LSX tuning in Houston to do the swap, install the components and do the head work, with a dyno tune. It will save me time and $$ in the long run.

I will post pics when I can and post the current engine/trans for sale here and locally.

High pressure/volume pumps on an engine such as a street factory engine not built for track racing can cause so much pressure that the bypass valve will do it job so much that it can heat up the oil and likely cause aeration of the oil. Neither of those is a good thing.

Ahh okay. I had assumed that with a catch can and larger oil cooler I may need more than normal amounts of pressure I'll contact BTR, thanks Sunlit.
