I painted the D-pillars and de-badged the back over the weekend.

I also painted the grill black and the GMC logo white. I think it makes it look MUCH better. Also another subtle change was I painted the license plate holder white so that it would blend in better.

I mounted the x-overs and the mids in the stock spots. The 6.5"s fit no problem and the x-overs sit nicely behind the Bose grille cover. Very clean look IMO.

For rear-fill I used my Boston Acoustics SX65's and some trimming was required in order to make them fit in the stock door spots.

I was able to mount the H701 under the passenger rear seat. Kept it clean.

I was also able to put my Diamond Audio D7104 and American Bass VFL 150.1 under the drivers side rear seat. It was a VERY tight fit, but it worked.

The wiring is kinda messy, but its all under the seats so not an issue at the moment. It will eventually get cleaned up some more.

As some of you know the 02 Yukon came with a 1.5 Din radio so I had to mod my dash to fit my double-din Alpine 505. Its a little rough, but I'm gonna clean it up and re-paint it later on. Functionality was the goal at this stage.

My Yukon came with the stock Bose sound system so I mounted my tweeters in the stock tweeter location. Had to widen the holes to fit the larger Shok tweets, but I think it came out good.

I managed to hide my XS-Power D5900 in the stock Bose amp location behind the rear plastic panel. It is supported by a wooden stand and retainer to help it stay in place. I also strapped it down with a THULE tie strap.

And last but not least, my small sub-stage. I say small because the box is 2.4 cubic feet. It is a sealed box so I'm not expecting tons of output, hoping to stay above AT LEAST a 140.

I blew my sub amp earlier this week so as of now I am bass-less. Also took out the subs, no need for dead weight.

Let me know what you guys think and if any of you guys have suggestions as to what I should do...

yea i just painted my dash all black. ruined the wood grain but oh well. soon i'm gonna be pickin up an 03 dash bezel and lookin for a cage. the black cleaned it up quite well though.

since the above pics i have removed all the gray rubbery material from the center console, replaced the dash with blue led's and also installed a second battery under the hood. (its not connected yet, but if it was i'd have pics up haha)

looks nice...
on the 24" wheels, i think you should get something with machined and black. just my opinion. Dont like all black wheels cause you cant really tell what the wheel looks like unless your up close to it.
