How much louder is the Flowmaster Super 10 than the Flowmaster 40 series? How is the interior drone?

The 10 is pretty much a race muffler, had them on my 85 Mustang GT, no cats sounded great, very loud, if you have tail pipes and cats might not be too bad for a DD

Are there any mufflers are louder than the Flowmaster 40 series but not as loud as the 10 series? I like the deep aggressive tones nothing raspy. Also, is the Flowmaster Super 44 louder than the 40 series? I saw multiple Flowmaster charts and the Super 44 came after the 40 series.

I have a Flowmaster super 44 3" in 3" out with a Flowmaster 5" tip. Its loud and gives a real deep sound. But does drone at 2k rpm.

Here's a video

Is there a difference in the loudness between a Flowmaster Super 44 single in/single out or a single in/dual out?

i would think the difference is nothing worth noting.

Agreed I wanted to run dual out, it would not change sound unless you ran a true dual.

That's what I was told by local shop who's been doing it for many years.
