If it was a 2/4 then it should be level. If you go any lower it might look funny. Were there any spacers in the kit that may have been used.
Also, what kind of shocks do you have on the rear?

Remove the rubber pads that sit on top and bottom of the rear coils throw a little grease on them then put them back in. Should give you a little more drop but maybe not enough for you liking

i have the same problem you have. If you are using factory ZW7 shocks then they will hold the back up slightly. Mine sits 3/4" higher with the ZW7 shocks than without. I can't stand rake (higher in rear than front), I like a little bit of lean (lower back than front). I'm 3/5 about to either do a 6" rear spring or bags.
Cutting the rear bump stop bracket may help your situation if the axle is sitting on the bumpstop. Otherwise, get a spring with more drop.

did you use shock extenders?
did you cut bracket off frame (more then 3 inches you need to cut bracket off frame or truck just sits on bumpstops)
also ifyou didnt cut the bracket off you will need to do the djm links and my bumpstops $110 shipped because if you cut the bracket off the frame the swaybar will hit the panhard bar bracket without the endlink kit.

I did use shock extenders and nothing was said about cutting the bumpstop brackets...so i did not do that..the kit was a bell tech kit. spindles n rear springs n new bump stops

Which rear kit?? There are a few different springs kits out there that belltech offers. Did you get the kit from a shop?

Hi guys I just lowered my 04 tahoe the front lowered 3 inches but the back only lowered 2. I'm just wondering why it would only lower two inches in the back if I got a 3/5 drop. I any suggestions would surely help.

What kit are you using?

What rear parts?
springs?
shocks?
etc?

Wish i could get to people to set them up with my 5-6 inch rear kit before they spent money elsewhere.

It was a used kit I found online. The shocks look stock so guess stock shocks.

ok what kit was used?

what springs are they?
are you using shock extenders?
trailing arm relocators?
swaybar relocators?
did you cut the bracket off the frame for more travel which is needed when going more than 3?

The kit came in a mcgaughys box. All I did was install the drop springs and the shock extenders and removed the bump stops

no problem. 5 inch drop there are more parts involved becuase you cut the bracket off the frame and if you dont move the swaybar over it ends up hitting the panhard bar bracket and on top of that your swaybar is pointing towards the ground where as the new djm links it brings it back up.

Did you remove the brakcet in the rear or just pull the bumpstops out? If you have 5 inch springs it would hit the bumpstop bracket hard all the time with the rear bumpstops pulled out.
