Mini Norcal Mod

After installing the 1.5" spacers I experienced ALOT more rub with the Cooper 305's,...so heres my mini norcal mod. I watched the YT videos from Custom Offsets and I wouldnt let those guys get within 100 ft of my truck. The hack that they had cutting just plane cut off all the tabs and weld, I took the time to fold them over as to NOT deter from the integrity of the metal and to NOT leave open edges. They basically just cut off all the folds and welds and then painted over it.

I took the time to fold over the tabs and welds.


Then I sealed the seams with Marine 3M 4200.



Then sprayed with a heavy coat of Undercoating



Ready for inner fender liner to be put back in place.

And for you guys with stock fender flares,......look what came out from the INSIDE of the flare...just saying.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I was curious how the hoe drives after the mini norcal? Are you getting any more rub anywhere?

im also looking for info on doing... pretty much this but in the back where the wheelwells kiss into the passenger opening?

i remembered seeing someone clearance that?

and does anyone make a gaurd for all those lines in the back that 285s rub on before spacers?

im putting 2" spacers on but Id feel better with some metal there Im trying to get 35x13.5 under leveled h2 suspension and actually beat on it, lol

i honestly wish it was easier to cut more on these like an XJ...
