Mine was not chrome, it was painted silver plastic that got scratched up from the car wash.

I've had an 07 LTZ Silverado, 08 LTZ Avalanche, 08 LTZ Tahoe, 09 Z71 Tahoe, 12 LTZ Suburban and my sister has had an 07 LT2 Tahoe and a 10 75th edition LTZ Suburban. I'd like to say I'm an expert on these things when it comes to options, experiences and common problems lol

I've only had my 2010 Tahoe LTZ a week but I really like the vehicle. When I was looking I printed out build sheets on a few trucks, it seemed like the best way to get the combination of features I wanted was to buy an LTZ. I believe limited slip is another feature that may not be on an LT but is on all LTZ's that I looked at.

I have an 07 LT Z71... It comes with leather, 3rd row, dvd, navi, back up camera and sensor, heated seats, power rear liftgate, sunroof power folding rear bucket seats. I think everything except the auto ride. You may can find one like that.... I do have limited slip but that me come with Z71

Sounds like you and I have near identical Z71's. I'd bet you have the G80 locker tho instead of limited slip

Is there such a thing as a 2WD Z71? Wouldn't make a lot of sense to me.

Yes. There is. I have seen it with my own eyes. I even looked under the front to find a axle....... wasn't there .

I think you're missing cooled (perforated) seats, and the upgraded Bose sound. After 09 the LTZ got a different 10 speaker (I believe it's 10) instead of Bose with 8 speakers.

Yes but I was trying to say after 09 the LTZs get an upgraded (different) Bose system.

Turns out I do have the locker in the rear diff. I guess I read the code wrong. Also my Bose has the sub in the console and tweets in front pillars. I thought that was the upper end Bose system...

No it's the regular Bose. The upgraded Bose (LTZ) also has something (idk if its a speaker or what) in the center of the dash. Like the denali and escalade.
