Hey guys.....I apologize if this is a stupid question. Is there a primary power tire in the rear? LS 2wd open diff 3.08. Example when taking off does the power go to the Drivers side rear or the Passenger side rear?

Pass rear will spin first.

Unless you're in reverse!

What really occurring is "for every action there an equal and opposite reaction". The driver side of the engine is trying to raise, the passenger side of the engine is trying to do the opposite and go down. At the differential, the driver side tire is getting planted, and the passenger side rear tire is trying to raise, so it spins.

OK, this is going to date me, but when I was in college we had a movie night once every couple of weeks. I happened to be running the projector the night we had "Bullitt" so after the big chase scene we ran it backwards, then forward again to the end. Great fun!

What is going to date you? The fact that Bullitt was out when you were in college or that you actually knew how to run a projector? I bet the smoke from the tires in that scene wasn’t the only smoke in the room.

Did the hybrids come with a G80 or is it something different?

Yes. LOL

EDIT: I took a summer school course in junior high for AV and got an operator's license for the school system's projectors. Any time the teacher needed to run a film I was the guy. Can't be letting the cellulose melt in the projector.... Today everything is "intuitive" and everyone skips the formal courses.

You're into safe betting, eh?

Probably easier to just buy a posi carrier for that rear. Odd that my 2WD LS has posi. Then again might have been an upgrade for the newer genss. Wonder if you can just take a diff from a 2015+ and stick it in the GMT900...
