Lowering on stock 17s

Quick question for anybody who might know. Can I use the drop spindles on stock 17s or do they have to be aftermarket 17s. Any help would be great

Actually, that's completely wrong... the kits specifically state, "17" Minimum wheel size required." and "Requires 17" or Larger Wheels"

You can use yor stock 17"s, you'll just need to pay close attention to the ball joint threads at the bottom and cut them to proper length to clear your rim. Might not be able to use stick on weights either...

This pic I attached have 26s on. But if you lower your truck on 17s you will have to shave down the bolt with a grinder. VERY easy to do! Just take the wheel off and grind it..

What I did after lowering is put the stock 17" rim on and see where it rubs. You WILL see it! Then use a grinder and shave the bolt until you see clearance, and you will be good to go!

Here is the pic. The light blue color is where the bolt is at! Hope that helps.

no doubt man. its superrrrr close. like less than a quarter away so if your rims bent or anything then it may hit ha.
