Looking to level out my tahoe with a 2" lowering kit in the rear. I want to know the best way to do it to either improve the ride or atleast keep it stock. Dont want to make the ride quality worse. I have a set of 20s with 305/55/20 tires will a set of 22 305/40/22 ride that much worse? I also tow a boat for the summer if that would affect any lowering decisions

Thanks i would appreciate your guys help,
Shaun

I ride on 305/40/22's and I don't think it rides a whole lot worse. Just my opinion though.

I went to a shop the guy told me 200 for all labor and he quoted me wayyy high on an eibach kit but timsuspension has a decent price for the mgaughys kit but i dont know how much im willing to spend yet since i want to put 24's on the truck also. He told me for a set of 24's with prada wheels 2,500 out the door aligned and balanced sounds decent what do you guys think? ill post a pic of my truck in a couple days show you how it looks now.

$200 for mount and balance? Thats crazy. $120 at most, maybe $150 if you're swapping wheel sensors but $30/tire is still quite a bit.

ya wanna know how they balance tires. Stick it on a mechine, it spins around, then it tells them how many weights and where on the tire. its that simple.

$200 for rear springs installed AND balance and alignment I think is a fair price! Most alignments around here for 20"+ wheels is $60-70...

shit i forgot he quoted me two hundred to lower 2in in the front and 3in in the rear but he quoted me high on the price like 350 for an eibach kit which on internet is like 280 so i thought 200 for the full lowering kit would be a good price i mean i figured if i was going 2in down in the rear might as well make it 3 and 2in the front
