Replaced my muffler with a performance muffler (insynerator2)...definitely sounds 150% better but what should I do next to make it louder?

Headers for sure, and cut the cats off. Those are 2 things that will make it louder.

They'll need to be welded to your exhaust pipes but the headers themselves bolt right up.

Yes you would need to replace them with a 'test pipe' of some sort. Also you could get some shorty headers that bolt up to the stock Y pipe, it'll make is a lil louder and give better performance.

Is there anywhere that sells test pipes that would replace the cat and bolt into place?

Any auto exhaust shop will have pipe for cheap, just have to measure out the amount you need. You can probably take it to them to have it welded too if you'd like or you can buy some clamps.

is your exhaust complete running out back, after muffler? A thought, is cut it off 6-10" after muffler, and install a turn down.

You can usually get them from places on Ebay ... they are common for imports. I doubt you will find a local place to weld it up for you ... you aren't supposed to remove them, even if your state doesn't have emissions testing.

Though many do turndowns, they are technically illegal... exhaust must exit "post cabin." The entire body of the Tahoe/Yukon is cabin, so it must exit behind the rear tire (factory or rear).

Make sure you hit up Justin at Black Bear Tuners for a PCM tune! Get the most out of your vehicle and have it tuned by them, and at the same time tell justin that your not going to be running your Catalytic Converter so he can tune that into it. If you really want to have it loud remove the muffler, the cats, and just run open headers.

I'd feel silly taking the muffler off after spending that much money on it. I had my roomie drive the truck around the block today so I could actually hear how it sounds and Im sort of thinking it's loud enough so I'll save going catless for the next time I get bored. As far as BBP...you guys are going to get angry but I'm thinking of going with a flashpaq. It would be a lot cheaper, and I don't think I'd be able to afford a BBP for a long while. I definitely want to go with a BBP tune after I do more to my engine though. For now all I'd really want from a tune is firmer shifts and adjustments for my bigger tires and I can get that from a flashpaq for less money.

How much is the flashpaq? You could always buy that and then when Christmas comes around sell it and buy a BB Tune, atleast that's what I would do. Last year they had a xmas sale and I got my traditional tune for only $175. Great deal and totally worth the money.

You think open headers are redonkulous? Well you'll get a kick out of my truck when I've got the time and money to do it.
