Lost Keys

Has anybody had to get a key from the dealer, ie, all keys have been lost?

Was wondering what the damage will be.

Should be unchipped. But not 100% sure. my '02 is unchipped.

Usually the chipped ones you can see the chip on the upper part of the key or if the key "base" is big the chip will be in there.

My mom has an '00 century and key is same size as mine and has a chip close to the "base" out in the open.

Hope you can understand that lol.

Wow its supposed to be sgandard to chip on anything newer than 00.... Guess gm was slow to chip

It was $50, $40 for the key code , and $10 for the key.

Also needed title/reg/license with matching name/addy.

at least you got your keys now. and can go to a cheaper place and have keys made.
