At the risk of looking like a wimp, I'm looking for a decent shop to get my Yukon lowered. It's an '04, and I'd like to drop it fairly low, as my mother-in-law is getting fairly frail and my wife is starting is having trouble getting her aboard.. I don't have the tools or a place to do that sort of job, and my wife is making "let's get a new lower vehicle" sort of sounds.. Since I just paid it off a couple months ago, I'd sure like to enjoy that 'no car payment" feeling at least a LITTLE longer..
I'd also like to not have that feeling that I'm steering a 747 on the road..
How would a good lowering job affect resale value? Up or down? Neutral?
Thanks for your help.
