Looking for feedback on Maggy TVS1900 vs BoostDistrict TVS2650 Truck Kit for my L94 6.2L

So I’m down to the last decision/purchase I need to make on my upcoming build/upgrades for my 2011 Yukon Denali L94 6.2L.

I’m doing a mild TSP cam swap package and supercharger upgrade. I emailed Magnuson to see if there was any type of retrofit or kit option to get a bigger SC for my L94 since the tvs1900 is their only option currently.

They actually recommended BoostDistrict to me who does a kit using a brand new tvs2650 core. I believe it to be a LSA type kit is using new parts? Just wanting to get some feedback on either SC. Pricing is damn close between both so it’s not a dollars decision for me.

Im kind of leaning towards the tvs1900 for simplicity but I am far from an expert here.

I have a 2012 Yukon xl Denali 6.2 with a Maggy tvs1900… i have used it for 8 years and over 125,000 miles in the harshest conditions from -60 Montana winters to 115 deg blistering desert summers. I have road it hard and she doesn’t even hiccup. I have had several vehicles with SC and the tvs 1900 is far and away my favorite. I under drive the pulley and get as much boost as I can without getting a new flywheel pulley… it is simply the best for a street vehicle. It is perfectly mated. You have to get an external tranny cooler…but that is it.

I have had a 6.2 raptor with a 2.3 whipple.. too much power and to peaky and too noisy…

If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing.

how much boost are you running? and pump gas?

I am using the smallest pulley you can.. I don’t remember the size… but if you call magnuson, they know.. as for boost..it may go up to 10-12 psi if I really get on it, but normal driving is 4-8 psi… oh yea pump gas… I wouldn’t even have it without simple pump gas.. I always use premium

I had the stock pulley from magnuson for a year or so and then I changed to the smallest for more boost…it definitely gave it another level

It is a great system that I have used for the last 130,000 miles and it just keeps going
