I think you already found this one, but on ebay there is a dealer that has multiple dark blue esky third brake lights...he wants 150 + 22 shipping...you could do that and then have it painted...
Talked to him Ryan. He also has hundreds of silver ones is what I was told. He said he knows he's getting black ones in, but just doesn't know when. I'm willing to wait if I don't have to repaint it from blue to black, being that he only allows for 7 day returns and I would really hate to take off the regular hoe 3rd brake light and install this one to find out if it works, then put it back on until the blue one is painted and do it all over again. I'd rather do it all at one time, but my painter's turnaround time just isn't that fast.

Sweet that is better news man...im in no rush for it either, if he is going to get some black ones im willing to wait as well...I live about 45 mins from him so when I get mine I'm going to pick it up. You should get your friend that lives here in the DFW to pick it up and bring it to you the next time he's coming up there, well if he comes up alot, 23 for shippings not to bad lol

Ok Dennis apparently we were not talking to the same eBay seller....I messaged the seller telling him I heard from a forum member that he would have black ones and I would wait for that. He blew up told me he would never get black ones and that he would not sale to me because of this. Not sure why he got his panties in a ***...so could u give the eBay seller name you have been talking with?

Really?? Why did he blow up and then say he would not sell to you??
I guess I exaggerated about blowing up, but he was basically just mad because I spoke with someone on the forums...tungo...about the lights...I thought me and tungo were talking to the same seller but obviously not.
Here is what he said to me:
"no dis respect but why would you believe someone on a forum over the guy
that sells them. i have never had any black ones nor will i ever get any
black ones. my supplier does not get them thus i do not get them.
with
all due respect, i think i will pass on transacting with you on the
purchase of this item. it is very frustrating when a buyer chooses to
believe a 3rd party over the seller."
I dont know why he says I believe a forum member over him "the seller", I never once said anything to him about black third brake lights...originally I was talking to him about a group purchase to see if I could get some peeps on here a good deal.

Clarification, I'm an idiot and I read too fast. While looking for the 3rd brake light on eBay, I was in touch with two eBay sellers who both had the word, "takeoffs" as part of their seller title username. I was speaking to them simultaneously and mixed up the messages, as eBay lists the messages in chronological order.
I did a quick search and saw a 3rd Brake Light by RJAtakeoffs (spelling) and messaged them and we did so back and forth a few times and I was provided their number and I talked to an associate on the phone and he said he had black and silver ones coming in, just didn't know when. But their listing only showed an LED light, with no spoiler.
At the same time, I was also talking to Nfttakeoffs, who has the spoiler with 3rd brake light, who Ryan talked to and is apparently, somewhat of a douche and we also messaged back and forth. After looking at the listing, RJA is selling ONLY the LED 3rd brake light, and not the LED/spoiler combo. I called again today and spoke to someone else to confirm what I was told yesterday, and the person who I talked to, said he had no idea who I talked to, but they definitely are not selling the spoiler and LED together for 199, but just the LED for 199. They would never sell both he spoiler and LED light along with it for 199. He seems more knowledgable about this than the person I talked to yesterday, but I took it as LED w/ spoiler and was pretty excited to hear I could get both for $199 in black and went along with it.
Therefore, I think the best deal is with NFTtakeoffs, or the guy that Ryan talked to and doesn't want to sell to him. I think he woke up on the wrong side of the bed today and didn't have his morning coffee, but whatever. Either he makes a sale or doesn't.
This was a complete mistake on my part and I relayed members the wrong information. I apologize to all members who showed interest. I clearly read too fast.
Cliffs:
- Looked for Esky spoiler w/ LED on eBay
- Talked to 2 folks with nearly the same username about the same item, however one was LED/Spoiler, while other was just the LED
- Mixed them up and provided the wrong information and forwarded this to TYF.COM
- Looked like an idiot in the process.
- NFTtakeoff on eBay isn't very nice today
