First off, I would like to thank Felix for the idea. He put the black ones in, while these are the light titanium version. I really like them. I ended up putting a new bumper cover+spoiler on as well so its like I have an all new front end for around 6 bills. Installation is straight forward as everything was plug n play. The plasma tubes are wired to the marker lights on the side (the green pigtail) so they light up in park, when lights are on, and when you remote start (really cool). They do not run as DRLs, and you may notice I switched my DRLs to amber bulbs (an Avalanche FC thing). Took me 3 hours for the whole process - most of the time was taking the bits off the old bumper cover to the new. The clips on the top grill were a ***** to remove, but the only tools I needed for the whole job were a needle nose, a couple sockets, and a screwdriver. Here are some pics...

As for the light output - we shall see. Here is the pics on my garage from about the same spot, but it was almost dark in the stock picture, while sun was out when I shot the aftermarket.

Looks good!

Almost like the projectors need rotated a little to get a straight line though

My last one had a bunch of scratches on it that didn't show up on the pics.

Those headlights look fantastic! Was that retrofit? Or a whole headlight setup you bought? I have halos but now I want something setup like this!

It was whole headlight assembly from ebay around 270 delivered. If you have a dark truck, I recommend the black ones Felix used. These are great with silver. Removing bumper was less of a pita than I thought it would be. I replaced all the factory bulbs with new ones (2 in each housing: drl and blinker). I will find out tonight how good they work, but they sure look good...

I have a silver truck. The back of the housings on the headlights I have are black and I love the contrasting color and look it gives my front end.

After a few long runs in the dark with the new lights, I got to say the difference is minimal. It seems the lights do come together at a point ahead that coincides with where oem ones do making them about equal in performance. Looks, however, are vastly improved. I just love remote starting from far away with the app, and coming up on her glowing. The $200 paint-matched ebay bumper cover gets a C in quality due to paint quality, but for cost vs. value, it rises to a B; the color is right on, and its cheap enough to do every year or 2 - it just isnt homogenous like the oem paint. Ill update on longevity as time passes...

Added some leds, and fixed these for $70. Match my $30 fogs perfectly.

Did you buy that new bumper cover already painted? If so, where did you find it?

I got quoted $1k for a new bumper/paint/install from a bodyshop but I can install myself if i can buy one already painted.

It came painted delivered for couple hundred. Took a little while to remove fogs, hook surrounds, spoiler, and clips on grill probably were hardest part. Easy enough, and def worth saving $800. Paint matches, but could be better. Works fine with wax on it...
