Lifted 4x4's, lowered 2WD's. One thing I really dislike are giant wheels on lowered tahoes. It's the stereotype I guess people think since they drop their hoe they need to stuff it with 24's ha.

well actually those people that do the big rim thing are not different they are conforming to the mass public. As for the base jumping....you go solo and send me some pics when you hit the floor. Im just jokin

I like em' mostly stock, but would prefer lifted if I had to choose.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I like factory rims. 16" size is perfect. Anything bigger and it's harder to find a decent tire for off road use.

Different strokes for different folks, though.

I use to have 20" wheels on my truck when I first bought my truck, their the only 20" wheels I ever liked. They were ASA Magnesium Alloy wheels, they looked kinda of like the 20" wheels that come on the tundra. If I was ever to come across an extreme amount of cash I'd buy a 2 door 2wd and drop it a bit nothing extreme, but I probably would put small sporty looking wheels on it and real fat ass tires.

I spent enough time “off road” in the Army. I preferred being in a Tank when off road. They ride smoother.

I’m never going off road again, at least not intentionally, and I like the cornering properties of a slightly lowered Tahoe. Just a personal thing.

On wheel size, in Minnesota the pot holes need some side wall to keep from damaging a wheel. The 18’s seem to have a comfortable side wall to absorb the shock, so far. :)

Same here. I like the look of the stock OBS wheels w/smooth caps. I wish they fit NBS :(

Plus I like my comfort and tire selection. Gimme sidewalls!

I had a predicament. I already had a lifted K5 blazer. It was hard enough to get the dogs, my son, and wife in and out. I didn't need two lifted rides. I lowered my Tahoe and love it. Having said that, I could just as easily lift it up and throw some 33s under it if I wanted... But I like mine lowered...
