Looks good ! Please post some close up pics of the front suspension, sides, and rear. Hopefully you can provide a review and offroad performance.

Does it fit in the garage?

Ya I'll post more pics when I get time. Doubt it will fit in garage but I'll try when my dad cleans out the garage. One thing I need help with is trimming the edge of the plastic that's attached to the running board. For some reason is sticks out into the wheel well and it the only thing I'm rubbing on. Do I need to take running boards off and trim it then pout it back on or can I trim it with them on?

You don't have to take off the running boards. Just cut from the bottom up and when you get to the body slow down and becareful. I used a Dremel Multi-Max to do all my trimming. But in the past I have used a sawzall, a razor blade, and even a hacksaw on other vehicles. I really like the Dremel Multi-max, I have used it on my vehicles, my bikes, tile grout, wood trim, etc. It is much easier to handle especially in tight areas or working around other items you don't want to cut. Regarding the running boards, I think I cut off about 3/8 of an inch and remember they are hollow at the area you will be cutting.

2WD. No wonder you can get away using this kit. On a 4WD the CVs would be at a a severe angle without a drop. Looks like the tire is rubbing on the upper A arm at full lock.

Looks good though and thanks for the pics.

They actually started that half way through the NBS years... I think around 04-05 ish when the Z71 logo on the C Pillar changed from Gold/Silver to Red/Black/Silver. The gold/silver just said "Z71" whereas the newer NBS emblem either says "Z71" (for 2wd vehicles) for "Z71 4x4"... So you used to be right pre-2005 but GM decided to change that.

Should have never made z71 in 2wd. I hate not having 4wd but oh well. I didn't really have a choice cause I'm 18 and my dad bought this vehicle for me an i def wasn't going to complain about getting a z71 Tahoe. It's fully loaded except 4wd :(

Thanks for the explanation Felix.

The 2wd Z71 should be like a pre-runner edition or something not a Z71. Just my thoughts.

No prob. but yea I completely agree... I had a 01 tahoe z71 and I loved having the 4x4 for the road trips in the snow.
