I didn't want to detour the other hinge thread, not sure if this is the same for all NNBS, but with my old hinge, and my new hinge, the 1st detent is not as pronounced as the RF door hinge, meaning it doesn't hold well or stay put.

I find myself needing to keep it from opening fully on slight inclines to make sure it stays in the detent.

Is this normal? I really want to take a dremel to that first detent a little.

Before you break out the Dremel, make sure that the hinge pin and the detent parts are clean and well lubricated, as dirt/rust/etc. can cause a major impact on proper operation of this mechanism.

Yeah, the roller and pin are working great, it's the first (or middle) detent that's deeper on the RF hinge.

Here's a couple pics of the hinge detent. The RH hinge is original, the LH is replacement OE. The LH detent has the same "shallowness" of the original.

The area in question is closest to the roller.
