i have no problem moving my wipers up and down on the shield and moving hair with my 3 Treo TSX10s when they were in my 99 sierra...can't wait to get them and the rest of the system in my yd....some day.

If you're looking for a good clean sound, go with Hertz subs on an Audison or Hertz amp. It might go over the $1500 budget, but they are by far some of the best sounding subs and amps I have ever heard.

It really depends on what you're thrying to achieve?
SPL? SQL? SQ?

I recommend some RE subs, maybe the SE or SX series.
