I replaced my mirrors with the new 2009+ models that have the blind side alert feature, but I forgot to take my old LED bulbs out and put them in my new mirrors. I need to know what 194 LED bulbs you guys are using for your puddle lamps, because I know from experience that some won't fit and I want to be sure I order some that do. Thanks

That is where I got mine. Worked for both the license plate and the puddle lights. I have had them for about 4 months now with no problems. I am not saying 4 months is a good lifespan... but thats my experience so far. They are plenty bright, and match my 6k HIDs perfectly.

So did you buy 2 sets since they come with 2? How many do you need total for puddle and license plate?

Zach, I'm using the 6-LED super bright 194 lamps in my puddle lamps. Fast shipping....got them off ebay along with my dome LED's. The ebay company is ushd. They also have great prices.

The LED puddle lamps match the HID reverse lights too.

which are the best to use for puddle lights from superbrightleds?

http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/...olet-tahoe--front+sidemarker/11-1053--437842/

I've tested some of the T10/194/168 bulbs on a Lexus light. The cheap 5050 has 6K-ish white while the new 5630 LED type was brighter but has a purple-ish hue. The single-forward facing bulb has the best correct output for puddle-light usage; those Philips/Oram are expensive because they produce lots of light than any of the 1w-3wattage bulbs.

This was MTec on ebay testing all the differnt bulbs.

I tried prying open the lense cover off at the little indent on the inside end but it wouldn't budge. Are these glued in or something?
I have a 2009.

Mine came out easy. I used a small flat head screw driver. You gotta put it up a little higher than you think in order to get it out. The clip is a big.
