LED lights for license plate light

I installed just the standard 4 LED 194 bulb into my liscense plate lights and its about perfect. Lights it up WAY better than stock and isn't overly bright. I got mine from superbirghtleds.com too, always have and no problems yet.

I'll try to get some good pics sometime, but my camera has been sucking for a while and I'm too broke to splurdge on a new one

how many l.e.d bulbs on the 194 for your plate you have?

It is just two, one on each side of the plate.

I might go with a few less lumens than haks310. I'd like to keep the light off my tailgate (and not blind people behind me with my arc welding license plate reflection) ;-)

I have the 6led ones and it stays on the plate. kinda what i was hoping for. i didnt wanna light up the rear doors too. lol
not completely dark out, but u get the idea.

Thats what mine looks like with 4 LED 194s. Not too bright, but alot brighter than the stock bulbs

i got some l.e.d's from superbrights and i need to get some

brighter ones for the plate and i did the interior to .

if you want to change the map lights you don't have to take the whole thing down like i did!! just push up gently and turn

counterclock wise and it will come out they are 194 bulbs.

you will not be able to use 5 r 6 l.e.d bulbs in the housing .

i got some 4 led bulbs and i will see if they will work. oh!!

did i tell yah that superbrights are 20 min drive from where i stay.

i have the 6 LEDs in my map lights. well, 2 of em. my front set dont twist open. so how the hell do i change those....?

I ended up order too many 6 LED's from V-LED's and I'm not in the mood to send them back. If anyone is interested, let me know.

two are out of the package, one set is still in the package....

they come out the same as the rear map lights can't get them out
with greasy fingers. and the key for the license brightness

is use the flat 6 l.e.ds?
