Anyone know what bulb is in the light on the inside of the door (on the door panel) of the front doors?

I'm just guessing but I'm gonna say a 194 bulb.

yeah they are 194 bulbs.


anyone know why when i open the door the front map lights are bright. at night when you turn them on pushing the button they are so dim you cant barely see. same thing happends to all the map lights. but when i have the stock bulb in the middle map light. i turn that on and the front map light goes bright again. weird. any ideas?

The very first LED option on the first post says it's for the doors...

Doors - 2 - Get the 194 WLED-x-x LED bulbs 120 degree angle. Getting brighter ones doesn't do any good.

Colors:
Red
Amber
White
Blue
Green
UV Blacklight

Just did this upgrade... Worked great, bought some extras as well, in case I find others or a fried wants one, I can sell them off...

Do I need to take the door panel off to replace the door reflector lights????

No you shouldn't need to, I think the lens just pops off and the bulb is right there, but I could be mistaken.

A lot of people use the part # 7440-WLX3 on superbright but they are $25 each...

Got the door lights in... I think I am addicted now.. Searching for DRL bulbs, and reverse light bulbs...

Just ordered full conversion kit for my Tahoe. Paid extra to have it shipped Priority and will post up some pics of what they look like installed. Should have them by Wednesday.

Just got it all today and been installing for past hour...everything was easy except the puddle lights, which were a little difficult to do. I will add some night pictures over the next few days

How do you pull off the covers for the puddle lights? I started to pop one off and it seemed like pushing in the tab toward the front of the vehicle wasn't enough to release tension on the housing, or should I just force it all the way off from that side? Anyone have pics of the drl led bulbs at night? I'm just wondering how ricey it will look I may just leave my amber bulbs in to prevent a possible traffic stop.

and reverse light bulbs...

If you're in an area that you actually need your reverse lights to light up the area behind you, don't bother with LED bulbs. If you're doing it for show, then go right ahead.
