I've had the aftermarket key fob rubber buttons stick to the hard plastic case which keeps the button triggered until the battery runs down. Once the button unsticks the load is taken off the battery and the remote will have enough juice to work once or twice every other day.
get a real genuine Fob mine is good for 200 feet

easy you must have been buying fake fobs aka counterfeit labeled as a genuine..
15913421 4 button remote start , no power tailgate it's like 90$ for a pair real ones if you only paid like 15$ 99% chance it's a fake.
315 MHz · should be able to get a net range of half mile Line of sight..
also use good batteries such as Energizer lithium
