For the fun of it? I feel you just placated my endeavor LOL

I was just coming to update the thread to say I have acquired the driver seat today! Now the fun can really begin! This is where I can start mapping out how the seats might “talk” to one another and the rest of the truck.

I'm the guy with an esclade IC sitting over my fridge since i want to have a digital dash, just haven't had the free time to get around to installing that and several other things i have sitting in a pile for the burb I like the idea of adding esky seats into the burb for the massaging function. Even if i did just rebuild both front seats earlier this year...

Isn’t that how it always goes? Rebuild then find an upgrade LOL.

Oh I know about the digital cluster because I have your build thread pinned/watched too! I will keep you posted but the biggest thing is the pins for the harness. They are a bit different and I need to understand how the pins interact with the seat and truck.

Sorry I totally missed this thread. Subbed now and will watch with interest. If the Caddy seats are all that then I'll want them in my 3500, too.
They bolt right in and my thread title likely needs updated but I don’t have the access to do so.

I’m just trying to figure out the pin-out right now for the seat harnesses. It’s tricky because the Caddy seats have actual seat modules. When I get the chance I will get both seats plugged in and see if two are needed to truly power things up. Might not be till Jan tho.

Ok folks! Moving in the right direction, I got the pin-out for the driver and passenger seats!
Now for the dilemma: I am 95% sure I have the seat pinned out right but it’s not working on the passenger side. No movement or controls. Any thoughts from anyone? Do we think/know that the VIN has to be programmed for the seats to even move? I’m a bit perplexed at this point… but it looks more doable than ever at this point because I’m 93% sure the truck has the right wires at least built in.

What would you want the thread title to read? Feel free to PM me if desired.

Update for everyone: I have most of the wiring figured out (I THINK). I’ve been using this GMUpfitter pinout and it’s been lining up how I thought the passenger side would and the driver is is even easier! There is only one that I’m not sure what to do with right now: Pin 23. It’s a constant power line but my truck doesn’t have the pin for it… wondering if I can piggy back off pin 47?

Either way my next question is there are so many pins that aren’t used by the Caddy seats because I think the seat module regulates the heated seat high/lows. I’m not sure but I think I need the truck programmed to understand the seats. That’s the next task!
