Try fixing the gas gauge? They are prone to breaking all the time.

What kind of fuel pump did you install? Is it a cheap off brand? That could be the issue.

Ya i messed up on that.I ordered a spectra TDC code pump from advance online after they told me twice it was the right pump,But when my mechanics took out the old pump found out then,it was the wrong old version.Mine was the version with the updated larger sending connector. So I had no choice so my tank with dropped and was 8:30PM and had to get the "Orieiyls brand" version for $260 !!!!Errrrrrrrrrrrr

My fuel gauge was bouncing all over the place no matter how much fuel was in the tank. Went to the dealership and they drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump and sender unit. $700 wallet gouging but the fuel gauge works. Your problem could be just the gauge cluster.
