iPhone wired to RSE HDMI

Hi all,

I’m trying to do a simple wired connection from my iPhone to the RSE HDMI using an Apple lightning-to-HDMI adapter. My issue is that it seems glitchy, particularly with audio briefly cutting out and back in. This happens both with streaming using my phone’s data plan as well as with downloaded videos. The adapter works flawlessly with normal HDMI TVs. Has anyone set up a wired connection from iPhone/iPad to the RSE HDMI and gotten good performance? If so, what set up did you use?

you need to add and hdmi splitter with hdcp like 20 bucks. go iphone ->lighting>splitter->RSE

I’m not sure I understand the need for a splitter. Why do I need to split the HDMI?

b/c the hdmi port in the car does not have hdcp. so when you plug your phone in to the port you get like a qr code / blank screen
