I was changing my brothers 2008 Tahoe 2WD outer tie rods the other day. I noticed a few millimeters play from the inner tie rods. Was wondering if this is normal from your experience? Wouldn't that make alignment difficult ? He just had a rebuilt Cardone rack and pinion installed.
