I04 for I06 swap

Has anyone attempted and successfully made a swap from the small 4.2" radio with I04 to the lager 6" radio and I06?

IF so, what all was involved?

The base radio sucks! And I am trying to avoid an aftermarket restoration project.

Do a google search and you should bring up a discussion about the swap on another forum site. It looks like they are available on Ebay and you have to do an HMI swap if you want touchscreen. Good luck.

My guess is you'd be cheaper to swap for a new one that had the 6" radio.
