Living in Oregon, I have been to the Dunes near Florence many times but always in a dune buggy of sorts. Quads are popular too. I know the owner of a lifted 02 Tahoe that used to run out there with big wide sand 38" tires and pulled lots of people out. Have seen people stuck like this before.

Larry, shoveling helps there sometimes but mostly the sand just fills right back in. Frustrating to say the least. But good times for sure.

Larry, I knew you were joking. I hate text as a way to be sarcastic because you lose something in the translation. I totally totally got it. Yea, shoveling sand where there is nothing BUT sand, is futile. Been there at the dunes and tried. It is a waste of time.

Holy cow! $200 was a great deal. I just purchased and lifted a Tahoe that had been lowered - some height can make a big difference - just not usually front and rear approach angles at the same time!
