I will once everything is back in order...I don't know call me crazy but thinking about selling the truck...such stupid thoughts but for some reason pops into my head time to time.

Seems like the only thing I will doing the summer is rebuilding it, dropping the rear an inch, cleaning it up, stereo and catch up on maintence (I currently have no P/S). Waiting for my job to give me two days off in a row so I can due to the Steering box and P/S Pump. While I am at it I'll install my pullies. Seems like it will be the only go fast mod for the summer.

P/S doesn't scare me at all its my 3rd one on the truck finally made me believe I also ****** up my float with in the box. Never didnt a steering box before, I know ours in bolted inside the frame. Just want a day to make sure I don't F-UP don't like to rush things I have never done before.

Did you not have an alarm or something to warn you of this or did they bypass it some how?

I do have an alarm, a Prestige with a Pager remote. The pager didn't go off b/c it was out of range. The alarm did go off but no one hears when your sound asleep. My neighbors are oblivious to the world, if someone did hear it. When I finish my stereo, I am going to have it hooked up to my air horns and have the alarm re-programmed to NEVER shut off until it is a)deactivated b)the battery dies.

Sinking money into most vehicles, exspecially our trucks is a piss poor investment. Now I'm investing more money then I would ever want too on a part of the truck that is really not that important to me.

I did find a limited fs...just waiting on a reply back from the seller.

My alarm has two sirens with different tones. It's also hooked up to the horn. When it goes off, its loud enough to wake the dead. Plus with the two sirens and the horn, its a very distinct sound. When it goes off I know damn good and well its my truck and not somebody else with an alarm.

That is what I would recommend with a interior siren and piezoelectric generator also called a pain generator I hear. My alarm horn output is programmable so it will be set to latched instead of pulse. Probably would not do an air horn(maybe) but will get a louder horn. Actually maybe I could wire up a musical horn with the most annoying song possible. That would definitely cause a stir.

You could make sure said air horn(s) are pointed right in perps ear on the inside of the vehicle if they were to crawl into the vehicle :D Wouldn't have to be big horns but I guarantee they wouldn't stick around long :D

Its black, all stock! $4,500 is the asking price.

I already have air horns installed, so just going to have them re-wired. When I had the alarm installed a few years ago, neighborhood was never this bad. So I told them No and to turn down the sensitivity!

Just went around my area about 2-3 blocks each way. Found out same night guy has his rims and tires stolen. They let the air out of tires and let the truck fall onto cinder blocks.

great enginuity but wrong

What decibel level do you think is safe if installed inside to prevent glass damage?

Any better ideas on something that would cause some kind of pain?

That is a lot of rewiring don't you think?

---------- Post added at 01:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:20 PM ----------

Actually is that possible without damage vehicle components?

I really love an automatic **** electric probe that expands locking the thief in place till found or woken up by his screams and yelp!

I e-mailed precent about questioning thier procedures aka not finger printing the truck EXSPECIALLY when theft has been rampant. It has been two days with no response. :/

Unfortunately, most street police just chalk it up to kids and mischief and don't give it much thought until there's been a 30+ car hit within a short period of time and then the light bulb goes off in their head that this may be a big deal. They'd rather catch the drug dealers or whatever gets their name in the paper.....
