Just wondering what this may be. The truck will make a wooshing/howling sound in first and second gear and almost feel like it's not wanting to make power but RPMs climb. This doesn't sound like a driveline whine, it's amost as if it's blowing air. It sounds almost like some of the tractor trailer trucks I hear. Seems to only do it when it is hot outside. As the wooshing subsides, power returns and the truck sounds normal.
