On a 2000-2006 Tahoe, if one were to:
1. install a 2" front 1" rear leveling kit from say, truxxx or rough country
2. Hypothetically keep the stock OEM rims and tires (for the sake of this example), how much wider does the wheel/tire stand?

Thanks guys!!!!!

As long as there is not a drop on it which I doubt a leveling kit would it should add any width.

Hmm, I could swear that I read on one of the manufacturers websites that the kits space the wheels both down And outward a bit, and that there was indeed some width added.

Would this be different for a 2007-20011 model? It is possible that this information only pertained to those years, versus mine which is a 2001....

Thanks guys.

Unless they add spacers in the kit, I don't see how it could change the width with OEM size rims/tires.
Most I can see 'em doing is changing the camber a bit.

you are basically just moving the suspension up a bit in its travel...
there is no outward movement
just think it through... does your width change with suspension flex?? no
