I had a 2006 Yukon with 17" tires and I flipped a 2" drop ball mount to get the right hitch height. Now I have a 2009 Tahoe with 20" tires and I need to get down to 18: hitch height. How much drop do I need?

The wheel size, 17 vs 20, doesn’t matter much. It’s the tire size and suspension that does. Measure from the center of your receiver to the ground to find what you need. Your new rig may have auto leveling so you don’t have to shoot for such a precise number.

^^This. The NBS OE receiver is below the bumper, but the NNBS receiver is IN the bumper. Lots of height difference there and the easy way to compensate is to measure. Is your desired 18" hitch height the top of the ball or the ball mounting plate?
