How do you make wheel center caps theft resistant?

I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ with the 20" Polished Aluminum 5 Spoke wheels.
Is there any way to make the center caps theft resistant?

Sounds like a question for a wheel specialist. Contact a GM rep, find out what company made the wheels and center caps and see what they say. I would bet that there is NO WAY to do it. Except getting different wheels

I've lost (or had stolen) a couple of caps on my Denali. Honestly, I just buy more off eBay, and keep a few spares. The dollars currently don't justify doing anything more.

anything is possible but at minimum it would require drilling a hole in it and I would need to see what it looks like next to the wheel it goes on

You really can not secure them by design. The only thing you can do is just have fun with the prícks for messing with your truck.

Trip wires that fire off party poppers, dog cràp next to the wheels, motion detectors wired to turn on some old stupid kitchen appliance set in a 5 gal empty bucket that’ll make a ruckus.

Halloween type, super scary stuff and clever, nothing more. I had a neighbor that rigged a solenoid that allowed a motion sensor to turn on a lawn sprinkler and let loose full blast. It sounded like a rattlesnake plus soaked the offender.

Remove them completely, put them away in a safe place, don't use them at all. Cheapest solution I can think of.

EDIT: y'all laugh, but seriously. Put them away somewhere safe, they become incredibly theft resistant for free.

Is it possible they are just falling off? The spring retainer on two of my caps were loose and I had to add duct tape to make them fit tightly again.

My hub covers occasionally disappear, especially the fronts, and its mostly from road conditions. I put 3 dime sized blobs of polyurethane glue on the back of the cover so it bonds to the wheel and it keeps them on between tire changes. Its easy to bust them loose when you need to remove them, the poly just peels off

I’ve always preferred open lug wheels with a center cap to cover the grease cap only. Thankfully the Gen 3 Esky 22” Platinum center caps are completely counterfeit on Amazon and start @ $7.99.

They’re so abundant that even the tweekers have moved on from them because a new one is cheaper after shipping

I am thinking "hot glue". Heat it and melt it onto the back side. Reheat when you want to remove cap.
