Hook that Holds the Visor

How hard is it to replace the little hook that holds the driver's visor? It has a tab that holds the visor in the hook, but the on mine tab broke off. The only thing that has broken in 48,000 miles and four years seven months. Is there a youtube video about it or instructions. I will hate messing with the plastic tabs in the ceiling.

I ended up designing and 3D printing a replacement hinge for mine and glued it on to the original mirror cover. I saw someone else posted a file for an entire mirror cover replacement somewhere shortly after I fixed mine. I could share the file if you’re interested. But you could also be talking about something different.

It’s super easy, I replaced it on my 2018. Order a new one, and when it arrives you’ll see a little access cover for the screw that holds it in place. Pop that cover off the busted one, remove and replace.
