Hoe Shopping

Today I looked around at an surplus dealer, had about eight 2006 Hoes. All of them had about 125k-150k on the odo. aside from that they are also the police package. To my knowledge police package hoes are RWD only, am I missing any other info? I need opinions on which model i should look into purchasing (police hoe vs. civilian hoe) and last but not least wats the blue book value on an 06 hoe.

MOST police tahoes will not have the center console or any carpet. remember that they have been driven MUCH harder than your avergae tahoe but they are also maintained at proper service intervals. just something to think about.

im just looking those will be gone before im rdy to buy. and truth be told i never had a problem with an high mileage vehicle until someone else drives it and crashes it

ya the engine isnt gonna be the issue with high mileage in most cases the transmission is what i would be taking a look at especially with all the stop and go driving police do

less... maybe 6 would be fair...
honestly its the lowest trim you can get, high miles, fleet usage...

I'd rather an 03 with more options, more comfort, & less miles (for less?) over an 06 retired police tahoe...

I would think a ex-police truck would have been driven hard with a lot of aggressive start and stops. However, on the other hand it would have been regularly serviced and maintained well.

im telling you, the police models have had the dog piss run out of them. how often do you drive around at WOT? everytime the light turns green? these trucks have.

Yeah I have to agree that the Police trucks would not be my first choice. Or ex-rental trucks either

But I guess you have to work with whatever budget you got.

Personally I bought an 04 with 60K on it. Owned by a Wall Street Trader who never used it and kept it in private parking all the time.

Drives like a dream and has been very reliable up till now.

im not the type to just buy anything, i shop around first, test drive, check fluids and etc...its quite a process for me. Like i said im shopping around.
